The problem
Shiba Inu grew from a token into an ecosystem of products: its own layer-2 blockchain (Shibarium), cross-chain swaps, a name service for web3 identities, NFTs, DAO governance and an app store for projects built on top. Its platforms are visited by millions of people and process billions of dollars in transactions — a scale where a frontend bug is a financial problem, not a cosmetic one.
What I did
I worked across several of those platforms rather than on a single app:
- Migrated existing apps to a newer, sturdier tech stack.
- Built new features across the platforms.
- Maintained existing projects and started new ones from scratch.
- Set up the architecture and patterns that our frontend apps were built on.
